Draft of 2026-10-08, to be reviewed before Petipa is listed.
Privacy
Petipa keeps the plans your assistant writes and shows you the one step to do now. This page says what Petipa stores, why, who else sees it, and how to erase it.
Who runs Petipa
Petipa is run by Petipa. To reach us about your data, or about anything else, write to [email protected]. The person in charge of protecting your personal information answers at that address.
What Petipa stores, and why
- Your account id and how you sign in (Apple or Google), to know whose plans these are.
- Your time zone, to know what “today” is for you.
- Your answers about how you like to work, such as when you have the most energy or how much time you have in a day, so your plans fit you.
- Your plan status (Free or Plus) and its renewal date, and, if you buy Plus, your Stripe customer and subscription ids, to know which limits apply to you.
- Your plans and their steps, as your assistant wrote them, with the places where steps happen, to show them to you.
- When you mark a step done, move it, or skip it, and the time you did, to show where you stand.
- The hours of your reminders, if you set them, so your assistant can recreate them.
- Which assistants you connected, and when each last reached Petipa, to show them to you and let you disconnect them.
What Petipa never stores
Your conversations. Your assistant, not Petipa, handles the conversation. Petipa receives only what your assistant sends to save a plan, change it, mark a step, or save your answers.
Petipa never asks where you are. A place on a step is where that step happens, as your assistant wrote it.
Who else sees your data
- Clerk, which handles signing in. It keeps your email address and how you sign in; Petipa reads them from Clerk to show them on your account page.
- Stripe, when you buy Plus on the website. Stripe processes the payment and keeps the payment details; Petipa never sees your card.
- Railway, which hosts Petipa’s server and database in the United States.
- OpenFreeMap, when a card shows a map of a step’s places. Your browser fetches the map from it, so it sees your network address and the area the map shows.
- Apple or Google, when you tap Directions. Their maps open with the step’s place, under their own privacy rules.
- Your assistant, ChatGPT, which receives what Petipa sends back in your conversation, under its own privacy policy.
- PostHog, which shows how visitors use the home page, as the next part says. It also receives pseudonymous usage events from Petipa’s server: counts, dates, and labels such as which assistant or plan you use, never text.
Petipa doesn’t sell your data, and shows no ads.
Analytics on the home page
The home page uses PostHog, in the United States, to see how visitors use it: where they came from, the pages they view, what they tap and click, how far they scroll, how fast the page loads, and recordings of the visit (the page as it moved and where the pointer went; anything typed is hidden).
It sets no cookie. PostHog keeps a random ID in your browser’s storage, so a return visit counts as the same visitor. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.
PostHog receives your network address and your browser’s details, to estimate your country and your device.
PostHog keeps these visits as its own service does, and they aren’t tied to a Petipa account, so deleting your account doesn’t remove them.
No other page of this site, and nothing in your conversation, uses it.
How long Petipa keeps it
Until you delete your account. Then it is erased within 7 days.
How to delete your account
To delete your account, write to us from the support page. We erase your account and plans within 7 days. Payment records stay with Stripe as the law requires. PostHog’s pseudonymous copy of usage events (counts, dates, and labels, tied to a random ID rather than to your account) isn’t erased by the deletion.
Your questions
You can ask what Petipa holds about you, or ask to correct it, at [email protected]. When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
